Proverbs 23:7
• For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

This particular Bible verse speaks powerful words. You do not have to be deeply religious in order to appreciate this Bible verse. In Proverbs 23:7, we learn that it is about what we do, not we say. Bible verses such as Proverbs 23:7 teaches us that as much as we speak those things that we are not, the truth shines through. Our heart is going to beam through. People are going to see the real intent of our souls, and the undying essence of who we are. Furthermore, this Bible verse teaches us that no matter how hard we work to portray an alternate image, if this is not felt within our hearts, God will certainly be aware of this fact.

• And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

This is a Bible verse that was designed to teach us that it is a natural habit for humans to become angry at times. With that being said, Bible verses such as this shows us that we are not to let our anger behave in a fashion that is ungodly. Bible verse Ephesians 4:26-27 instructs us to not let life’s unfortunate circumstances get the best of us, and possess us to do things that are evil by nature.
